About Loea Landscaping LLC

We first started working in our 7 acre coffee field as children, from pulling shoots to weed whacking, from fertilizing to picking coffee, from picking up debris to picking macadamia nuts, yup! we did it all. As we all grew older, we went our separate ways, however we would still migrate back to grandpa to help with the land work.

Austin decided to get into the landscaping business, he worked as a landscaping foreman full-time and began to do side jobs on his own. Our mother was in the process of helping him start his own business and life took a turn for the worst. At age 20, Austin got into a single truck accident and passed away. I have decided to continue his dream by opening up his landscaping business that he wanted. Continuing on this journey makes me feel as if he is walking along side me, it brings back our fun childhood memories and most of all it gives my children the chance to embrace a life their mommy once lived and loved. Our chore work was FUN as long as we were together. As long as we were together, nothing else mattered. We never looked at it as hard work, we honestly always asked to go into the land, where we were wild and free, where we could live, love and laugh all at the same time. 

"Loea" comes from Austins Hawaiian middle name "Loeamaikalani", it means "Skill" it also means expert, ingenious and handy. Loeamaikalani= "Skillful (with his hands) from the heavens". Austin was all of the above, his work life and his personal life was a pure example of it.
